the show talk seemed to be the best place for this post, and im not sure how new this feature is but something cross my mind with it... heres a link so that you can read about it before i start talking about it... Ticket Sellingany way, it allows you to sell your tickets over ticketmaster, and there isnt a service charge until some one buys them. However the way it works is that once you sell your ticket, yours becomes void and new tickets are issued to the buyer.. seems easy and convenient and all that however this now gives some one a void ticket that is completly authentic, yet wont work, to go down to the show with and sell on the street to some one that has no idea the ticket is worthless.

just saw this, and yeah it seems it could leave people open to be scammed. however fake tickets have been around for years. Ticketmaster is evil in many ways imho. They have that print at home feature now which allows your ticket to come straight from your desk, but they have NO problem charging you an extra $10 bucks. Don't get me wrong I'm a 4-6 show per year guy, and maybe they have some deals somewhwere. My opinion is to use them as a last resort or for shows you know are selling out once they're onsale. For example, during the '98 Phish summer tour almost every show was a sellout to my knowledge. Once we arrived at the venue we sold our tickets for face value. We wanted party money and saw the band the night before. However as the day went on and anticipation grew, we changed our mind. We had no problem finding $20 tickets when face was $35. We basically donated 5 dollars(per ticket) or so to Ticketmaster many months before just to have security(of entry) within our grasp. ~end rant
