High On The Hill in Eastgate and Waterbeds N' Stuff in Chillicothe. They're closest to where I live. Both nice little shops.

Head shops have cheap, mass produced glass for the most part.
Sometimes you can find a good nugget.
Wait for festival season.
There is a really nice place in Yellow Springs called The Import House which has a nice selection, and a lot of hand blown pieces.

there is an import house on high street in columbus. it's an ok little shop walking distance from the newport. high street has a few good head shops. i prefer to do all my shopping at festivals too. headshops are too expensive!

ya i agree that i like to wait for festivals, but when you need something in this season head shops become the next best thing.. i usually just like to go there just to look around even. And i might have to check out high street when i go down to the newport or osu sometime.

There is a really nice place in Yellow Springs called The Import House which has a nice selection, and a lot of hand blown pieces. I totally disagree with that statement. The Import House(in YS) has high prices and notsokind employees imho. I rarely shop for that sorda stuff. Glass breaks is a lesson I learned long ago, no more of those broken glass blues here.

Buy thicker glass. Double blown!!! Athens has a decent Import House but I'd rather wait for the festivals too!!!

ya if u have nice thick glass, it usually wont break that easily. and i agree on waiting for festivals to buy glass, however sometimes waiting isnt an option.

My buddy showed me some glass papers the other day, he said he enjoys them very much. Anybody else use these? Basically they're totally transparent and stick like no other.
